If a member is unable to attend a meeting, an excuse is required in advance to one of the Executive Officers or the Advisor. An excused absence does not count against the member, but the member does not earn any points. Points will be deducted from your total points if you do not call, or if you sign up and do not honor the commitment.

A total of nine to sixteen points are required per Semester/Term. If a member fails to acquire the required number of points during a Semester/Term, he or she will be placed on probation and given the next Semester/Term to make a 25 - 32 points for both Semesters or Semester/Term. Should a sophomore go on probation the Semester/Term before he or she graduates, the member's standing with the society will be decided upon by the Executive Committee. Failure to acquire the 25 - 32 points during the probation Semester/Term will result in loss of membership.

A copy of this policy shall be given to all members and initiates for their own benefit. It shall be the responsibility of the individual member to make certain that he or she accumulates the required number of points. The diploma seal and graduation stole may be withheld for a sophomore on probation before he or she graduates as deemed by the Executive Committee.
