2009 State Convention
- This meeting will be held on November 6-8, 2009
at the Holiday Inn Express Shelby, NC and Cleveland Community
College. Rooms will be $74.96 per night (this price includes
tax) but you must register by Oct. 23, 2009 to get this rate.

HEIFER ANIMAL BOOTHS - Each chapter attending convention

TALENT SHOW - Each chapter attending convention
is asked to participate in this event. We are also asking you
to bring change to vote for the Talent Show winner. (That money
will go to our National project-- March of Dimes). For an application

2009 Summer
Planning - This meeting was be held on August 28-29,
2009 at the Embassy Suites Hotel (Raleigh - Crabtree) and was

Scrap Books -
This years scrap book will still be required in the traditional
format. Next year we will excepting digital versions (Digital
Media Competition)or traditional versions, your choice (you
can even create and turn in both if you like but, only one will
be required for DCA's). For more info on the digital version

DCA (Distinguished Chapter
Award) -
The National Executive Committee authorized in 1980 a "Distinguished
Chapter Award" to be presented to deserving chapters at
the State Convention. The Executive Director recommends and
the National Executive Committee determines the recipients of
the award. The award is a patch designed to be affixed to the
chapter banner. The data used for adjudging whether the chapter
has met the award criteria are taken from the Chapter Report
filed by the chapter. No new chapter not in operation for the
full school year shall be eligible for a Distinguished Chapter
Award.
Chapter Reports must be submitted to Headquarters annually,
dispatched (postmarked) by June 21. Click

GBP Alumni -
The Alumni Association membership is open to any student member,
in good standing, who leaves school for any reason and any former
advisors. Each graduating student and exiting advisor will receive
a written invitation to join the Alumni Association. If a student,
in good standing, is leaving school for reasons other than graduation,
they may also join the Alumni Association but they must contact
their chapter or the National Business Office for an application.

website. |
